How equity markets work, NSE and BSE, market participants, order types, trading sessions and reading live quotes.
Chart reading and technical analysis
Candlesticks, support and resistance, moving averages, RSI and MACD, applied on live AlphaSync charts.
Intraday and swing trading
Position sizing, risk-to-reward, stop-losses and a live paper-trading exercise on AlphaSync.
Options and derivatives: an introduction
How calls and puts work, basic strategies and reading an option chain.
Introduction to algorithmic trading
Rule-based systems, backtesting and a no-code strategy-builder demonstration.
Live challenge, Q&A and certification

Who is the workshop for?
Undergraduate and postgraduate students in any stream: engineering, commerce, arts and science, and management. No prior finance or programming knowledge is needed.
Is real money involved?
No. Students practise on AlphaSync with ₹10 lakh of virtual capital. No broker account, deposit or KYC is required, and nothing in the programme is investment advice.
What certificate do participants receive?
A digital certificate co-issued by Vianmax and Alice Blue Financial Services, with a unique ID and QR code that anyone can check on our verification page.
Can the workshop be delivered online?
Yes. We deliver on campus by default, and online or hybrid formats are available for institutions that prefer them.
What does the college need to provide?
A venue with projection and internet access, communication to students, and a point of contact. We handle faculty, material, platform access and certificates.
