01 · The engagement

Engineering a trading platform under the client’s brand.

Max Algos Consultancy engaged Vianmax™ to engineer a white-label algorithmic trading platform that operates under the Max Algos brand.

The platform is a multi-tenant algorithmic trading SaaS platform for the Indian markets. The engineering objective was to bring the separate stages of algorithmic trading, from building a strategy to monitoring it in production, into one platform, so that users do not have to assemble and maintain their own broker-integration infrastructure.

It is designed for different kinds of users: developers who code strategies, technical traders who prefer structured definitions, non-programmers who use visual builders, and users who already generate signals elsewhere and want to route them to their broker.

Figure 1 · Stages brought into one platform

  6. 06Execution
  7. 07Monitoring
Seven stages of the algorithmic trading workflow in one platform: strategy creation, market analysis, testing, risk controls, broker connectivity, automated execution and monitoring.

02 · Idea to execution

From trading idea to automated execution.

An infrastructure layer between a trading idea and automated execution. A workflow can start from an idea, a template, an existing strategy or an external signal, and move through the same stages to a deployed, monitored strategy.

  1. Start pointTrading idea

An idea, a market observation, code, a no-code workflow, an AI-assisted concept, a marketplace template or an external signal.

  2. BuildCreate

03 · Strategy creation

Strategy creation without a single path.

Max Algos is designed around flexibility, allowing users to approach strategy creation through code, structured definitions, visual workflows, templates or external signal sources.

Code

For developers

  • PythonCode-based strategies in Python
  • JavaScriptCode-based strategies in JavaScript

Structured

For defined logic

  • Max StrategyThe platform-native strategy format
  • TXTText-based strategy definitions, where supported
  • JSONStructured strategy definitions and configurations

No-code

For visual building

  • No-Code Builder 1Visual strategy building by configuration
  • No-Code Builder 2Trading logic without writing code
  • No-Code Builder 3Drag-and-drop, configuration-oriented workflow

External signals

For signals from elsewhere

  • MaxHookSignals generated outside the platform, routed to execution

Nine documented creation paths. Templates from the strategy marketplace can be a starting point for any of them. The methods available to a particular account depend on its configuration.

04 · MaxHook

Connect external signals to execution.

MaxHook is the external-signal integration path. It lets a user keep signal generation on the platforms they already use, while Max Algos handles broker-side execution and controls.

  • External signal integrationConnect external platforms and signal sources.
  • Symbol configurationChoose the symbols a signal may act on.
  • Trade action configurationDefine what each incoming instruction does.
  • Execution parametersSet quantities and execution behaviour.
  • Broker routingRoute signals toward the user’s connected broker.

Figure 2 · The MaxHook signal path

  1. External signal sourceA platform or source where the user already generates signals
  2. MaxHookThe external-signal integration path
  3. Signal and symbol configurationWhich symbols to act on, and which trade actions
  4. Execution controlsExecution parameters and the account’s risk controls
  5. Connected brokerThe user’s own broker account
A signal from an external source enters through MaxHook, is matched to the configured symbols and trade actions, passes the execution controls and is routed to the user’s connected broker.

05 · Broker connectivity

Broker connectivity behind a unified workflow.

Users connect their own broker account. Broker-specific execution handling sits behind one common platform experience, so a strategy is built and monitored the same way whichever broker it trades through.

16 broker entries documented in the current Max Algos platform

  • Alice Blue
  • Angel One
  • Dhan
  • Dhan (Sandbox) Sandbox environment
  • Flattrade
  • Motilal Oswal
  • Fyers
  • IIFL Capital
  • Jainam XTS
  • Kotak Neo
  • Sharekhan
  • Shoonya
  • Upstox
  • Zebu
  • BNR Securities
  • Zerodha

* Broker availability may vary according to broker API access, account eligibility, platform configuration and current integration status. Where a broker’s API requires IP whitelisting, the platform can support static IP infrastructure for users and their broker connections.

06 · Risk management

Risk controls inside the execution workflow.

Max Algos includes a risk management system (RMS) layer designed to apply pre-trade and execution-related safety controls. These are platform capabilities documented for the product. They are not a regulatory certification.

Figure 3 · Where the risk controls sit

  1. 01Trading instructionFrom a strategy or a MaxHook signal
  2. 02Platform RMSPre-trade and execution checks
  3. 03Connected brokerThe broker’s own RMS applies
  4. 04Order placedTracked in orders and logs
An instruction passes the platform’s RMS checks before it reaches the user’s connected broker, whose own RMS also applies. The RMS mode is selected per user: in broker-side-only mode, platform-side pre-trade checks can be disabled so the connected broker’s RMS is the primary gate.

Market hours gate

Controls orders outside the relevant trading session.

Funds / margin check

Checks available funds or margin before an order is handled.

Maximum order quantity

Limits the quantity of a single order.

Freeze quantity check

Checks configured exchange freeze quantities for applicable NFO orders.

Maximum order value

Limits the notional value of a single order.

Price-band check

Checks order prices against configured or live price-band information, where applicable.

Velocity / runaway breaker

Protects against rapid or runaway order activity.

Market order restriction

A control for restricting market-order types.

Unconfirmed order limit

Controls repeated or unconfirmed order behaviour.

Emergency controls

Kill-switch style controls to stop trading activity.

Account and platform controls

Broader risk controls at account and platform level.

Administrator controls

Administrator-controlled account settings, RMS modes and overrides.

07 · Testing before live execution

Build. Test. Validate. Deploy.

The platform provides several testing stages, so that a strategy can be examined before it relies on live capital.

Figure 4 · The testing path before live execution

  1. 01BacktestHistorical strategy analysis, where supported
  2. 02Paper tradingSimulated trading without real capital
  3. 03API testingValidate the broker and API execution pathway
  4. 04Risk controlsConfigure execution safeguards
  5. 05DeployMove toward live execution
Five stages in order: backtest on historical data, paper trade without real capital, test the broker and API execution pathway, configure the risk controls, then deploy. Sandbox environments allow users to experiment with platform capabilities without live-money exposure.

Testing shows how a strategy behaves under the conditions tested. It does not remove trading risk, and simulated or tested results do not indicate future returns.

08 · AI-assisted workflows

AI as an assistance layer.

Max Algos integrates AI into strategy and market-analysis workflows as an assistance layer. AI sits inside the analysis and strategy-building experience rather than being a separate, standalone product.

AI assistance supports the user’s own decisions. It is not investment advice, and it is not presented as a prediction of market outcomes.

  • AI Trading AssistantTrading-related suggestions and assistance.
  • AI-assisted market and chart analysisAnalysis support within charts and market views.
  • AI-assisted strategy generationHelp turning an idea into a strategy definition.
  • Strategy guidanceStrategy-related guidance while building and configuring.

09 · Market analysis

Research, analyse and build.

Research tools sit in the same platform as strategy creation, so analysis connects directly to a strategy workflow.

Option chain

Strikes, expiries and open-interest-related information.

Options analytics

An options-focused analysis layer around the option chain.

Equity screener

Filter and discover equities by configured market and indicator criteria.

Equity baskets

Work with groups of equity instruments as one analytical or trading concept.

Charts

Research a setup and inspect price behaviour.

Advanced indicators

Apply indicators as part of analysis and strategy design.

AI-assisted analysis

AI integrated into chart and market analysis.

Scalping mode

Short-duration, execution-focused workflows within the same platform.

10 · Automated execution

From strategy signal to broker execution.

Once a strategy or signal is configured, the platform provides the infrastructure to route trading instructions through the user’s connected broker.

Figure 5 · Documented execution flow

  1. Strategy or signalA deployed strategy, or an incoming MaxHook signal, produces a trading instruction.
  2. ConfigurationThe instruction is resolved against the configured symbols, quantities and execution settings.
  3. Risk checksThe RMS applies its pre-trade and execution checks, according to the user’s RMS mode.
  4. Order handlingAn order is prepared for the user’s connected broker account.
  5. Broker-specific handlingDifferences between broker APIs are handled behind the common platform experience.
  6. Broker APIThe order is sent through the user’s own broker account.
  7. Orders and positionsOrders, trades and positions are monitored in the platform.
  8. Logs and P&LExecution logs, trading logs and P&L tracking record what happened.
Eight steps from a strategy or MaxHook signal to a monitored order: configuration, risk checks, order handling, broker-specific handling, the broker API, then order, position, log and P&L monitoring.

11 · Observability & operations

Visibility across the trading lifecycle.

Monitoring gives users and administrators operational visibility across strategy deployment and trading activity.

Figure 6 · What is visible in operation

12 · Execution architecture

One platform from strategy source to monitored order.

The platform’s logical architecture, drawn from the documented product. Each tier hands work to the next; AI assistance and administrator controls apply across the platform, and every account is a tenant of the same multi-tenant platform.
