Refund & Cancellation Policy

This Refund & Cancellation Policy explains when payments made to Vianmax Techno Ventures Private Limited ("Vianmax™", "we", "us") for AlphaSync subscriptions, training programmes, and other services are refundable. It forms part of our Terms of Service and is published in accordance with the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 and the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020.

1. AlphaSync Subscriptions

• 7-day cooling-off - First-time subscribers to a paid AlphaSync tier may cancel within 7 days of the initial purchase for a full refund, provided platform usage in that period has been limited to evaluation (no live broker-connected order execution).
• After 7 days - Fees for the current billing period are non-refundable. Cancellation stops future renewals; you retain access until the end of the paid period.
• Renewals - You may cancel auto-renewal at any time before the renewal date from your account settings or by writing to us. Renewal charges already processed are refundable in full if cancellation is requested within 48 hours of the charge and the platform has not been used after renewal.
• Student access - Free student and workshop access carries no fees and no refunds are applicable.
• Billing errors - Duplicate or erroneous charges are refunded in full once verified.

2. Paid Training Programmes

• More than 7 days before start - Full refund, less payment-gateway charges actually incurred.
• 2 to 7 days before start - 50% refund, or a free transfer to the next batch of the same programme (one transfer per enrolment).
• Within 48 hours of start or after commencement - No refund. In documented medical or emergency circumstances we may, at our discretion, offer a credit or batch transfer.
• Cancellation by Vianmax - If we cancel or reschedule a programme and the new schedule does not work for you, you receive a full refund including gateway charges.
• Online self-paced courses - Refundable within 7 days of purchase if less than 20% of course content has been accessed and no certificate has been issued.

3. College Workshop Programme

The college workshop programme is provided free of charge to students; no fees are collected and no refunds arise. Institutional sponsorship or logistics fees, where agreed, are governed by the written arrangement with the institution.

4. Custom Software & Client Engagements

• Engagement Terms prevail - Refunds and cancellation for development, automation, and platform engagements are governed by the signed proposal, statement of work, or master services agreement.
• Default rule - In the absence of specific provisions: advance payments are refundable less work actually performed (documented on a time-and-materials basis) if the engagement is cancelled before kickoff; milestone payments for accepted milestones are non-refundable.
• Our default - If we fail to deliver a contracted milestone and cannot remedy it within a reasonable cure period of 30 days, you are entitled to a refund of amounts paid for that undelivered milestone.

5. Certificates

Certification fees, where charged separately, are non-refundable once a certificate has been issued. Certificates issued in error will be corrected and reissued at no cost.

6. How to Request a Refund

• Request - Email billing@vianmax.com from your registered email with your order/invoice number, date of payment, and reason.
• Acknowledgement - We acknowledge refund requests within 48 hours.
• Processing - Approved refunds are processed within 7–10 business days to the original payment method. Bank posting times may add a few days.
• Taxes - Where GST was charged, refunds are accompanied by a credit note in accordance with GST rules.

7. General

• Chargebacks - Please contact us before initiating a chargeback; most billing issues are resolved faster directly. Accounts with abusive or fraudulent chargebacks may be suspended.
• Discretionary goodwill - Any refund made outside this policy is a one-time goodwill gesture and does not create a precedent.
• Changes - We may update this policy from time to time; the version in force at the time of your purchase applies to that purchase.
