Project Overview

Viswa Projects, a leading political consultancy firm in Hyderabad, required a robust field survey tool capable of collecting structured voter data at massive scale across multiple constituencies. Their existing paper-based and generic-app workflows resulted in data loss, inconsistent geo-coding, and week-long delays in analytics.

Vianmax™ designed and delivered a full-stack Android application backed by a cloud analytics engine. Field agents use the app to capture demographic data, conduct structured questionnaires, photograph respondents' locations, and auto-attach GPS coordinates — all offline-first, syncing to the central dashboard when connectivity is restored.

Automated Geo-tagging & Location Mapping

Every survey response is tagged with GPS coordinates automatically, pinning it to the correct constituency ward. Location data is verified against ward boundary polygons to prevent cross-constituency data bleed.

3000+ Samples Per Constituency

The app's quota management engine allocates sampling targets by ward and agent, ensuring statistically significant coverage across demographic strata (age, gender, caste, urban/rural) per constituency.

AI Sentiment & Opinion Analytics

Open-ended responses are processed through an NLP sentiment classifier trained on regional-language data that categorises voter mood as positive, neutral, or negative across key issues — surfacing insights without manual tagging.

Real-Time Central Dashboard

A web-based command centre gives team leaders instant visibility into survey progress, sample counts, geographic heat-maps, sentiment trends, and field-agent activity — updated live as data syncs from the field.

Offline-First Architecture

Built on SQLite + Room for local storage, the app operates fully offline in low-connectivity rural areas and auto-syncs data to the Firebase / REST API backend once a connection is available — zero data loss.

Multi-Role Access Control

Three-tier role system — Field Agent, Team Leader, and Admin — each with scoped permissions, allowing large distributed teams to operate concurrently across 20+ constituencies without data conflicts.

Excel / PDF Export & Constituency Reports

One-click export of constituency-level summary reports in Excel and PDF formats, with automated chart generation — ready for stakeholder presentations without any manual compilation.
